Hope everyone had a safe & relaxing Labor Day weekend! We have had a few people suggest that we post what our most needed items are for the month. While we still collect everything on our wish list on an ongoing basis, these are items we are very very low on. We also need volunteers to sew baby tote bags. Thank you for supporting kids in foster care. #ittakesavillage

Our Mission

“Our mission is to uplift struggling families and foster youth by providing necessary items that no child should have to go without.” We accomplish our mission by: • Supplying low-income families with diapers, baby supplies, and clothing to help keep babies happy, healthy, and dry. • Assembling comfort kits to distribute to DCFS offices and other partnering agencies for children who are transitioning into foster care and emergency shelters. • Providing family hygiene kits to the In-home foster care program. • Providing busy kits for children who are hospitalized or experiencing a traumatic event. • Providing survivor kits for children and teenagers affected by domestic violence, neglect, and abuse. • Providing a unique service center where community members can volunteer and make a difference.
