Looking for a easy & fun sewing project?? We are always in need of stuffed friends for our baby & age 1- 3 children's comfort kits. I love this free elephant pattern by Birch Fabrics. It is perfect to use up those fabric scraps and works great with fleece, baby flannel or cotton fabrics & best of all the eyes are sewn on so no choking hazards for the little ones. Amazon wish list
Hope everyone had a safe & relaxing Labor Day weekend! We have had a few people suggest that we post what our most needed items are for the month. While we still collect everything on our wish list on an ongoing basis, these are items we are very very low on. We also need volunteers to sew baby tote bags. Thank you for supporting kids in foster care. #ittakesavillage

Save the date!!
On June 24th Little Lambs Foundation for Kids is hosting a summer packing party! Come get out of the heat & serve along side us as we assemble 200 backpacks full of supplies for children transitioning into foster care & emergency shelter placement. There will also be a representative at the event from the Utah Foster Care Foundation to answer any questions you may have about opening your heart & home to a child in need. We will have a sign up on justserve.org. Please RSVP so we can have a count on volunteers :) We have had several people ask what items we collect on an ongoing basis so I have attached a flyer with our collection list. This would be a great opportunity to bring a new item for a little one in need! Thank you for all your interest & continued support.

I am loving these handmade monsters for the children's kits. A sweet 5th grade girl from Malad, ID collected items with her elementary school & she said her grandma made these fun plush animals :) #kidsservingkids nothing sweeter.

Welcome to Little Lambs Foundation for Kids!

Little Lambs Foundation for Kids is a non profit 501(c)3 Organization who provides comfort kits to children ages 0-17 years old who are transitioning into foster care, emergency shelter or who have been hospitalized by providing them with a little comfort in a bag.. Just in Northern Utah alone there are on average 700 children who are in foster care. 2700 children in the state of Utah at any given time. There are also on average 80 children that are in the in-home program through the Department of Child and Family Services just in Cache Valley alone. When a child is removed from their home because of abuse or neglect most of the time they are not able to take anything with them & if they are able they carry their precious belongings in a black trash bag. Can you even imagine?? Little Lambs is currently providing transitional bags to children from Cache Valley to Sandy Utah and all counties in between... We are excited to be able to provide a little bag of items that can provide them with something they can call their own. We believe that this is a tangible way of sending a message of love and worth from our community members. Below you will find a list of items we will be collecting on an ongoing basis. Thank you so much for your support! Together we can make a difference. Please call Ted with any questions- 435-764-4439 you can also visit our website at www.littlelambsofutah.org

Big delivery! This week we were blessed to deliver 193 children's comfort kits to West Valley DCFS & 300 comfort kits to Sandy, UT DCFS. We also delivered 30 homeless outreach bags to Youth Futures in Ogden & 12 busy kits to Brigham City hospital for children coming into their emergency room. Little Lambs couldn't help these children without our support from our community! Thank you for making a difference in so many children's lives!
